After the product is put into the packaging container, in order to seal and preserve the product, maintain product quality, and avoid product loss, the packaging container needs to be sealed. This operation is completed on the machine. It refers to the machine that seals the container after packaging the product.
There are many materials used to make packaging containers, such as paper, plastic, glass, ceramics, metal, composite materials, etc. The shapes and physical properties of packaging containers are also different, so the sealing forms and sealing devices used are also different. Generally according to the mechanical properties of packaging materials, they can be divided into the following two categories:
(1) Flexible container sealing device
Flexible containers are bag containers made of flexible materials, such as paper, plastic film, composite film, etc. The sealing of this type of container is often combined with bag making and filling, and is rarely used independently. Due to different materials, the sealing devices are also different.
① Paper bag sealing device.
For paper materials, adhesive is generally applied to the sealing area and then mechanical pressure is applied to seal it.
② Plastic film bag and composite film bag sealing device. Many plastics have good heat sealability. Plastic bags or composite bags made of this type of plastic are generally heated directly at the sealing area and mechanical pressure is applied to fuse and seal it.
(2) Rigid container sealing machine
Rigid containers refer to containers whose shape is not easily changed after the container is formed. Different forms of lids are often used for sealing, and the following are commonly used.
① Screw cap. This kind of capping is processed with internal threads in advance, and the threads can be single-headed or multi-headed. For example, medicine bottles mostly use single-head threads, and can bottles mostly use multi-head threads. This machine seals the cap by rotating it and pressing it tightly against the mouth of the container.
② Rolling. This type of closure is mostly made of aluminum and does not have threads in advance. The aluminum cap is rolled with a roller to form threads that are exactly the same shape as the threads of the bottle mouth, thereby sealing the container. This kind of cover will break the indentation along the skirt when it is unsealed and cannot be restored, so it is also called "anti-theft cover". This machine is mostly used for sealing and packaging of high-end wines and beverages.
